Police are on the hunt for four individuals they suspect assaulted an MTA worker in a Bronx 6 train station early on Tuesday morning.
According to cops, the incident took place at 1:47 a.m. on Tuesday inside the 6 train station, within the confines of the NYPD’s 41st Precinct and Transit District 12.
Police said the trouble began when the four alleged perpetrators, two male and two female, approached the 55-year-old male MTA employee and engaged him in a verbal dispute, police say.
The two alleged male perpetrators then began punching the MTA worker in the face, before fleeing the scene on foot to an unknown location, cops said. The female perpetrators boarded a northbound 6 train to an unknown destination as well.
Emergency services personnel showed up at the scene to treat the victim for minor injuries.

Photos cops shared depicting the alleged male perpetrators show one with a dark complexion wearing a white t-shirt, gray sweat sweatpants, and white sneakers. The other is shown with a lighter complexion and was doning a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and white and black sneakers.

The two female suspects both have dark complexions. One is seen wearing a black vest, white shirt, black pants, and black and white sneakers; while the other has a black jacket, blue shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers.
amNewYork reached out to the MTA and the Transit Workers Union Local 100 about the incident and is awaiting responses from both.
