NEW YORK (WABC) — Police are searching for three people wanted behind a string of high value thefts at athleticwear stores across Manhattan and Brooklyn.

The pattern has hit multiple Lululemon and Alo locations repeatedly throughout February and early March.

According to police, the group has struck at least eight times within the 13th, 84th, and 94th Precincts.

In each case, the individuals walked into the stores, grabbed large quantities of high priced athletic and athleisure wear, and ran away. No injuries were reported.

The thefts began on February 7, when two people entered the Lululemon at 114 Fifth Avenue and took more than $3,000 worth of clothing.

Over the next several weeks, the same location was hit multiple times, including one incident where thieves made off with $11,000 worth of merchandise in a single afternoon.

Police say the crew also targeted the Alo store on Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg and two Lululemon locations in Greenpoint, where suspects walked out with thousands of dollars in leggings, jackets, and other high-demand athleisure pieces.

The most recent reported theft occurred on March 3 at a North 6th Street Lululemon, where approximately $21,000 in clothing was stolen.

Investigators have released surveillance images from one of the Brooklyn incidents as they work to identify those responsible.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
