HUNTS POINT, The Bronx (PIX11) — An MTA worker is recovering after being assaulted in a subway station in the Bronx, police said on Thursday.

The 55-year-old worker was in the mezzanine of the Hunts Point Ave subway station when he was approached by four unknown people around 1:47 a.m. on Tuesday, according to authorities.

The group got into an argument with the transit worker, during which two of the men present began punching the 55-year-old in the face, officials reported. The two men in the group ran away while the two women with them got on board a No. 6 train.

Police say they’re looking for a woman last seen wearing a black vest, white shirt, black pants and black and white sneakers, another woman last seen wearing a black jacket, blue shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers, a man last seen wearing a white t-shirt, gray sweatpants and white sneakers and a second man last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants and white and black sneakers.
