A TikTok celebrating Queen Elizabeth II’s bond with her grandsons, Prince William and Prince Harry, has gone viral, with 84,800 likes and more than 1 million views.
The video starts with William leading the late queen’s grandchildren in a vigil, followed in order by Harry, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Lady Louise Windsor, James, Viscount Severn, and ending with Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips.
Initially, Buckingham Palace had planned a vigil for the queen’s children only, but one was later added for her grandchildren so Harry could wear his military uniform in tribute to her.

The video then cuts to touching moments with Queen Elizabeth II and her grandsons, including a clip of her making Prince William laugh during the Sovereign’s Parade on December 15, 2006, as he graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
It also shows Prince Harry kissing the late queen on both cheeks, alongside a clip of them smiling together.
Fans couldn’t help but get teary-eyed while watching the edit, with one person writing, “I still cry that she’s gone, she was a beautiful lady.” Another added, “She was mothers for them, too.”

On Eugene Levy’s Apple TV show The Reluctant Traveller, Prince William opened up about missing the late queen and how Windsor Castle feels different without her.
“I do actually, yeah, I do miss my grandmother, and my grandfather,” he said. “It’s been quite a bit of change, so you do sort of, you think about them not being here any more, and particularly being in Windsor — for me Windsor is her.”
“She loved it here, she spent most of her time here,” he added, referring to the castle.

Despite their shared love for their late grandmother, Prince William and Prince Harry have been unable to fully put aside their differences.
Royal author Omid Scobie, who said in 2023, “Harry was still waiting for that moment of accountability from his brother,” told People three years later, “Nothing has changed.”
“The expectations and wants and wishes of Prince Harry are exactly the same as they were then — and none of them have been met.”
The Duke of Sussex and the Prince of Wales have had a difficult relationship since 2020, when Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, stepped down as senior working members of the royal family.
“The ball has been in William’s court for some time now,” Scobie said. “And he’s chosen not just to knock it back, but to kick it in the other direction.”
