Assemblywoman Jessica González-Rojas is looking to unseat incumbent Jessica Ramos for Senate District 13.

González-Rojas currently represents Assembly District 34, which covers many of the same neighborhoods in the Senate district, such as Jackson Heights, East Elmhurst and Corona.

Over the past few months, she has also collected several powerful endorsements — including Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Nydia Velázquez, Queens Borough President Donovan Richards and the Working Families Party, which previously backed Ramos.

González-Rojas joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to discuss her campaign and how she is trying to stand out against her competitor.

“I’m someone [who] will collaborate. I will build bridges, I won’t burn them. I’m really ready to deliver and fight for our community,” she said.
