Leicester vs Queens Park Rangers Team News and Confirmed Lineups
Leicester City Team News
Despite a long wait for a clean sheet and a win, Leicester have been picking up form lately. The performances away at promotion hopeful sides like Ipswich and Middlesbrough were the epitome of this, as they took a draw from both. If performances like the one against Bristol City can be emulated, then their chances of survival are much higher.
In terms of injuries, Gary Rowett confirmed that there are no fresh absences. In even more positive news, Harry Souttar, Jannik Vestergaard and Aaron Ramsey are all back in training. Whilst they may not be in the squad in the next few weeks, it’s certainly a positive to see important players return. The addition of several senior players has certainly helped lately, which is something that has pleased Rowett. He said: “Sometimes, though, when the pressure is on during the season, players that have been there and done it are key.”
Queens Park Rangers Team News
Due to a poor run of results last month, QPR are quickly slipping down the table. Their last four games have all seen defeats, with Middlesbrough and Southampton both thumping them by quite a margin.

Injury concerns are certainly affecting their recent form, as with many other sides, the Hoops’ best players are out. Steve Cook came off early in midweek, so he won’t be available for the trip to LE1. Meanwhile, Kwame Poku is set for a cameo off the bench, as he is still looking to gain match fitness. It’s far from an ideal situation, especially as they are desperate for goals. However, if there was a game for QPR to find joy, it could be against Leicester, especially after their first-half onslaught back in December.
