MIDTOWN, Manhattan — Police are investigating after a man was found dead on a subway platform at Penn Station.
Police found the 55-year-old unconscious in the northbound waiting area for the C and E trains shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday.
A source tells Eyewitness News that the man may have been assaulted minutes earlier.
Doctors at Lenox Hill Hospital pronounced the man dead.
Uptown A, C and E trains were bypassing 34th Street because of police activity.
