A 24-year-old man was shot to death during an event at a Brooklyn nightclub early Sunday, police sources said, the latest in a string of violence in city nightspots.

The victim was partying at a club on Alabama Ave. near Stanley Ave. in East New York when he was shot in the chest about 4:10 a.m., police said.

Medics rushed him to Brookdale University Hospital but he could not be saved. His name was not immediately released.

No arrests have been made.

His shooting took place less than 24 hours after a man was killed and another wounded in a Bronx nightspot, the G&S Restaurant and Lounge on White Plains Road near Nereid Ave. in Wakefield.

About 5 a.m. March 8, two men and two women were shot and wounded inside Richard’s Hall and Lounge on Avenue L at E. 94th St. in Canarsie.

On March 7, a shooting inside the El Catracho sports bar on Jamaica Ave. in Hollis, Queens, ended the life of Denis Nunez, who was celebrating with his brother.

And on Feb. 14, three men were shot, and a fourth man was stabbed in three separate nightclub attacks in Brooklyn and the Bronx within three hours, police said.

Sheriff Shittu, a 30-year-old aspiring fashion designer, was fatally shot in the head in one of those Valentine’s Day shootings, after he tussled with a drunk patron at the Quilox Restaurant and Lounge in East Flatbush who had groped his girlfriend earlier in the night and argued with him over the line for the bathroom.
