Authorities are on the hunt for two men after they allegedly stabbed a Bronx deli worker with a glass bottle earlier this month.
According to police sources, the vicious assault unfolded inside of the Vidania Grocery Store, located at 124 East 176 St. in Mt. Hope on March 5. Cops say two men approached the 28-year-old store worker around 7:15 p.m. and began arguing with him before things turned violent.
One of the men used a broken bottle to stab the victim in the back, while the other individual struck him in the face with a glass bottle before the duo fled on foot into the 174-175 Streets subway station.Â
EMS responded and rushed the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made.
Police have released surveillance images of the men in hopes they will be recognized.
One of the suspects was last seen wearing a black jacket, multicolored pants and white sneakers, while the second was spotted wearing a black hat, black jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers.
