Detectives are investigating after a man was shot to death during a Brooklyn pop-up party early Sunday morning.
According to police sources, cops from the 75th Precinct received a 911 call that a person had been shot inside an industrial property used as an event space located at 824 Alabama Ave. in East New York around 4:12 a.m. When officers arrived, they discovered a 24-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
EMS responded and rushed him to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where he could not be saved and was pronounced dead. His identity is being withheld pending proper family notification.

Police did not have a description of a perpetrator. Authorities could be seen canvassing the building throughout the morning as they gathered evidence. Blood also appeared to stain the ground outside the event space,Â
While it was not immediately clear if the venue was operating as a licensed club during the deadly incident, the building is currently used for pop-up parties and DJ events, which are often promoted on social media such as Instagram.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
