As you’re probably well aware, Brooklyn has been estranged from both his mother, Victoria, and his father, David Beckham for a while now. In January, he detailed the falling-out in an explosive six-part Instagram statement, accusing his famous parents of being “performative” for the media and prioritizing “Brand Beckham” over family.David Beckham, Victoria Beckham and Brooklyn Beckham in formal attire pose on a red carpet at a GQ event

“My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else,” he wrote. “Brand Beckham comes first. Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.”Brooklyn Beckham, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham pose on a red carpet in formal attire

Brooklyn also accused his parents of “consistently” disrespecting his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, and “trying endlessly” to break them up even before their 2022 wedding. He said he was left even more “uncomfortable” at the wedding when Victoria “hijacked” his first dance with Nicola, “which had been planned weeks in advance,” and danced “very inappropriately” on him.Victoria Beckham in an elegant blazer and pants stands next to Brooklyn Beckham in a suit and Nicola Peltz Beckham in a long leather coat on a Netflix red carpet

“I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life,” Brooklyn wrote. He also shared that when he and Nicola later renewed their vows, they did so to “create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”Brooklyn Beckham in a classic tuxedo and Nicola Peltz Beckham in a sleeveless top and pants

While David and Victoria didn’t publicly respond to the post, a source later told People that they were left “horrified about everything.”Victoria and David Beckham walk hand-in-hand away from a red carpet

“David and Victoria believe time will heal this,” a second source said. “They know over time that Brooklyn will come back. They can’t really do anything until then,” adding that the family now speaks “only through mediators,” seemingly confirming 2025 reports that Brooklyn had sent his parents a legal letter asking that they contact him through lawyers.Brooklyn Beckham in a casual shirt, pants, and shiny shoes, and Nicola Peltz Beckham in a chic crop top, fitted skirt, fishnet stockings, and heels

Still, his family has continued trying to publicly make amends, with both David and Victoria sharing tributes to Brooklyn on Instagram earlier this month for his 27th birthday. Brooklyn didn’t publicly acknowledge either post, but he has continued to show love to the Peltz side of the family. Under an Instagram video of Nicola’s birthday surprise to him — which included pink donuts spelling out “Happy Birthday Brooklyn” — he left a sweet comment calling her his “baby girl.” He also shared an Instagram post on Sunday — which was Mother’s Day in the UK — shouting out Nicola’s mother, Claudia Heffner Peltz, for her March 12 birthday.Brooklyn Peltz Beckham and Nicola Peltz Beckham pose together at an event, both wearing stylish suits
