In a beautiful display of hakaras hatov, a group of dedicated and appreciative parents of Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim Queens organized a special brunch this past week to honor the hanhala, mashpiim, magidei shiurim, and all staff.

The event, fueled by the parents’ desire to express their profound gratitude, celebrated the faculty’s tireless dedication and devotion. Speaker after speaker highlighted the incredible impact the teachers have on their sons, acknowledging their tireless efforts in “shaping the hearts and minds of these tmimim.”

The Menahel, Rabbi Yossi Hendel, shared moving anecdotes of the dedication he regularly witnesses from the mashpiim, mashgichim, and magidei shiurim, illustrating how each goes truly “above and beyond” for every student.

The Rosh Yeshiva, Horav Sholom Dovid Geisinsky, delivered a powerful Dvar Torah, profoundly connecting the donation of the ‘Nesiim’ to the unique shlichus entrusted to us by the Rebbe.

Rabbi Menachem Mendel Baruch and Rabbi Dovid Kahanov shared special and unique traits and characteristics of the Queens Mesivta Tmimim, emphasizing how fortunate the staff and parents are to work with such special young Bochurim.

Looking to the future, the Menahel Kloli, Rabbi Menachem Mendel HaCohen Hendel, shared inspiring details about recent special investments in the Yeshiva’s Gashmiyus (physical amenities) and unveiled plans still in store for the Mesivta’s growth.

Rabbi Mendel Yusewitz of the Hanhala represented the parents at the gathering directly sharing the parents’ deep appreciation for all their hard work. He farbrenged about fostering the tmimim’s growth.

The brunch served as a powerful reminder of the vital partnership between parents and Yeshiva in nurturing the next generation. It was a day of true inspiration and hakaras hatov, celebrating the dedicated team that makes Queens Mesivta a Ruchniyusdike home for its Temimim.
