Signage was recently spotted for Gnocchi on 9th at 512 Jersey Avenue. The fast-casual concept is known for its grab-and-go gnocchi dishes that have gained a loyal following across New York City. A New Pasta Spot Coming to Jersey City
With eight locations currently across New York, it seems gnocchi lovers will soon be able to enjoy the concept just across the river, as signage was recently spotted in Jersey City for a new outpost of Gnocchi on 9th in the former Defense Tattoo space.Â

The fast-casual pasta spot has built quite a reputation in Manhattan for its grab-and-go gnocchi served in small Chinese takeout-style rice boxes. Founded by Mike Salzano and Ariel Strizower, the concept began as a passion project between two pasta-loving friends who have since turned their idea into a growing brand. What started as a shared love of Italian comfort food evolved into a mission to serve quick, satisfying pasta dishes that are flavorful, approachable, very generous portions + budget-friendly with prices ranging from $15-$20.Â

What to Know About the Menu
As for the menu, Gnocchi on 9th keeps things simple and focused. The concept centers around four gnocchi combinations: Gnocchi Alla Vodka, Gnocchi Black Truffle Cacio e Pepe, Gnocchi al Pesto, and Gnocchi al Pomodoro. All of the gnocchi dishes are vegetarian, while the Pomodoro option is also vegan.
Gluten-free gnocchi is available at all locations, and burrata can be added to any order for an extra indulgent touch. The menu also includes one salad option and a tiramisu, because no Italian meal feels complete without something sweet at the end. While the options to choose from may be relatively short, the simple + focused menu delivers exactly what’s needed, especially with the option to top any dish with creamy burrata.
