The New York Giants have been very active in free agency since it opened for business on March 11, but they might have to slow down as their coffers begin to dry up.

Per the NFLPA database, Big Blue is dangerously close to running out of cap space after a flurry of activity over the past weekend.

Spotrac shows that the Giants have a Top 51 figure of approximately $22.3 million, but as Duggan stated, many of the contracts agreed to over the past week have yet to be reported.

The Giants can naturally perform more housekeeping and cut some veterans, such as kicker Graham Gano, and rework the contracts of others to realize more cap space.

The free agent laundry list is almost complete, but there is a common view that they would still like to add a veteran on both the offensive and defensive lines this offseason. Whether they have enough space under the cap to do that remains to be seen.
