Brooklyn Square Pizza started out as a local Jersey Shore-area pizza spot doing something a little different: that crispy, upside-down square pie with the sauce on top. People tried it, loved it, and yeah… the word spread pretty fast.

Next thing you know, they’re popping up in more towns like Manalapan Township, Jackson Township, Toms River, and Shrewsbury. At this point, it’s not just a neighborhood pizza joint anymore; it’s one of those Jersey spots people will actually go out of their way for.

 

 

 

Did Jon Stewart Come To Monmouth County For Pizza?

According to a recent Patch report, “On Friday, Daily Show Host Jon Stewart stopped by Brooklyn Square Pizza’s Shrewsbury location. In an online video, pizzeria owner Peter Grippo thanked customers for stopping by their five store locations on Friday, and gave a special shoutout to Stewart for his visit as well.”

 

Is Brooklyn Square Pizza Opening A New Location?

Brooklyn Square Pizza plans to open a new location in Monmouth County. According to their website, they are expanding and are looking to open their latest pizzeria in Marlboro.
