BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A postal worker was slashed in the face while delivering packages in a Brooklyn building on Monday, according to police and sources.

The 48-year-old USPS employee was attacked during a fight with a man inside the building at 1680 Bedford Ave. at around 4:25 p.m., police and sources said.

The two argued about a package that did not belong to the suspect, police said.

The suspect then slashed the victim in the face before running off, authorities said.

The worker was taken to the hospital for treatment.

There have been no arrests.
