A large fire broke out on upper levels of a high-rise office building in Midtown Manhattan on Tuesday morning, March 17, prompting a large response from the New York City Fire Department.

The blaze broke out at 6 East 43rd Street, one block from where the St Patrick’s Day Parade was scheduled to begin at 11 am.
