EAST ELMHURST, Queens (PIX11) — Video obtained by PIX11 News shows the moments before a young mother was stabbed multiple times while waiting for a bus in East Elmhurst.
Sources told PIX11 News the attacker didn’t say a word before walking up to the 29-year-old victim early Monday morning at the intersection of 23rd Avenue and 94th Street.
The woman was taken to a local hospital in reportedly stable condition. The suspect fled to parts unknown after stabbing her once and then again in the middle of the street, the surveillance video shows.
After the stabbing, the woman limped to the other side of the street, holding her midsection while hunched over.
The NYPD released an image of the alleged attacker on Wednesday.
