Actress and entrepreneur LaLa Anthony is being honored with a signature menu item at New York City hotspot Sei Less, marking a new Women’s History Month collaboration that’s drawing attention across food, entertainment, and culture circles. The restaurant unveiled the limited-edition “La La Lo Mein,” a dish developed in partnership with Anthony and available through Mother’s Day weekend.
The entrée, priced at $35, features lo mein noodles with shrimp, lobster, pineapple, pumpkin, red bell pepper, baby bok choy, and a custom “secret sauce” created with Anthony’s input. According to Sei Less, this is the first time the restaurant has collaborated directly with a celebrity to create a signature dish. Anthony was involved in every step of the process, from early concept meetings to working alongside Chef Allen Ma in the kitchen to finalize the recipe.

The former NBA WAG, a frequent guest at Sei Less, described the collaboration as a full-circle moment. “I’ve eaten at Sei Less and known Dara for years, so getting the chance to create my own signature dish during Women’s History Month felt extra special,” she said. “It’s an incredible feeling to celebrate this moment while collaborating with a restaurant I genuinely love, and I’m excited for everyone to experience a dish that reflects both my personal taste and the vibrant energy of this place.”
Sei Less co-founder Dara Mirjahangiry emphasized that the partnership reflects both Anthony’s longstanding support of the restaurant and its broader mission. “La La has been an incredible supporter of Sei Less over the years, so choosing to celebrate her for Women’s History Month was a no-brainer,” Mirjahangiry said. “Our team collaborated closely with her to create a delicious menu item for our guests — a dish that incorporates Sei Less’ trademark flavor infused with La La’s go-to ingredients and recipe.”
The collaboration arrives as part of a wider Women’s History Month push across Mirjahangiry’s hospitality portfolio. In Atlanta, his restaurant Lo Kee recently launched a prix fixe menu honoring women who have shaped the city’s cultural identity, including Ciara, Latto, Monica, and Kandi Burruss. That menu, which runs throughout March, features dishes named after each honoree and blends Asian fusion with Southern-inspired flavors.

Both initiatives reflect a growing trend of restaurants using curated menus to spotlight influential women across industries. Sei Less has also built a reputation for merging celebrity culture with community impact, previously partnering with artists such as Fat Joe and Jadakiss on philanthropic events that support families affected by the criminal justice system.
