STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) — An investigation is underway after multiple Molotov cocktails were thrown at a residence on Staten Island on Wednesday night.

The incident happened around 10:31 p.m. at 209 Roma Avenue.

Police received a call about a possible explosive device.

A preliminary investigation determined that two unidentified individuals threw three Molotov cocktails at the residence.

Police say there was no explosion and that no injuries were reported.

The suspects fled in a dark-colored two-door sedan.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
