BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — MTA officials are set to announce details for a major train car acquisition Thursday.
The site in Brooklyn is where the agency now receives and processes new railcars with the goal of getting them on the tracks faster.
As officials outline the purchase and the future of the fleet, questions remain about where the new cars are, how quickly they’re moving through the facility and whether the effort is improving commutes.
