This month brought several fun openings to Brooklyn – including the grand opening of a superstar athlete’s store in Downtown Brooklyn, a children’s dance studio in North Williamsburg,  an indoor playground and arcade in Sheepshead Bay, an escape room in Coney Island, and a French-English bilingual daycare and preschool in Carroll Gardens. Even more openings are slated for April, including a comedy club in Greenpoint and a beautiful new addition to Green-Wood Cemetery.

Card Vault by Tom Brady | Downtown Brooklyn | NOW OPEN

Card Vault by Tom Brady is located at 80 Flatbush Avenue. CardVault by Tom Brady is the place for collectors and enthusiast to buy, sell, or trade sports cards and collectibles.  They also offer certified grading. They are open 11:00am-7:00pm Monday-Thursday and 10:00am-8:00pm Friday-Sunday.

Canopy Dance | North Williamsburg | NOW OPEN

Williamsburg has a new dance studio for children ages 1-10 and is now open for registration. Canopy Dance offers ballet, jazz, hip hop, K-pop, and creative movement classes. They are located on North 11th Street between Berry and Wythe.

MaxFunLand | Sheepshead Bay | NOW OPEN

MaxFunLand, located at 3843 Nostrand Avenue, is open to play! They have a large indoor playground on the ground level and an arcade and bumper cars on the lower level. They offer family fun for all ages.

Coney Escape Room | Coney Island | NOW OPEN

Coney Island now has even more fun to offer visitors! Coney Escape Room is open on the second floor of 1205 Surf Avenue. They have 3 Coney Island-themed escape rooms to try. Each escape room accommodates 2-8 players and lasts for 60 thrilling minutes. They also have a Live Game Show Experience, gift shop, and party room. 

Petits Poussins | Carroll Gardens | NOW OPEN

This French-English bilingual daycare and preschool is now open at 283 Court Street. They welcome families with infants and toddlers ages 3 months to 2 years to come see their program. Each classroom has one French-speaking teacher and one English-speaking teacher, with a curriculum focused on early language acquisition, well-being, and the development of fine and gross motor skills.

Brooklyn Bridge Fencing Club | DUMBO | OPEN NOW

The Brooklyn Bridge Fencing Club has moved to a new larger space at 295 Front Street. The new location is 8000 square feet and has 20 full-length fencing strips

Lidl | Crown Heights | NOW OPEN

Lidl US is opened its newest store in Crown Heights at 1730 Bedford Avenue. Similar to Trader Joe’s and Aldi, Lidl offers a broad assortment of products, including its 49-cent butter croissants, private-label Butcher’s Specialty meats, and Bon Gelati mini ice cream bars. Shoppers can also find gourmet favorites like frozen tiramisu, aged Parmigiano Reggiano, and authentic prosciutto. They are open daily from 8:00am-9:00pm.

Vuori | Williamsburg | NOW OPEN

The athletic clothing brand Vuori has opened a new retail location in Williamsburg. The shop is located on 6th Street between Berry and Wythe, next to Rothy’s. They are open Monday-Saturday 10:00am-8:00pm and Sunday 11:00am-7:00pm.

UNIQLO | Williamsburg | NOW OPEN

The Japanese clothing brand UNIQLO opened a new flagship at 187 Kent Avenue on March 20th. The affordable retailer is expanding in the U.S. in 2026, and will also open a handful of new locations in Manhattan. Located on the ground floor of a 7-story mixed-use building, UNIQLO sells clothes and accessories for men and women, as well as for kids and babies.

Arizona College of Nursing | Downtown Brooklyn | Opening date TBA

Arizona College of Nursing is opening its first New York campus after signing a 10-year lease for 40,000 square feet at 532 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn. The Glendale, Arizona–based school will occupy the sixth through eighth floors of the Paxton, a 43-story mixed-use tower near Borough Hall and MetroTech.

Erudite Preschool | Boerum Hill | Opening date TBA

Erudite Preschool is a Russian immersion daycare and preschool for children ages 6 months to 5 years. They have signed a lease at 526 Baltic Street which is the Baltic Canal building.

Prospect Park Vale | Prospect Park | Reopening 2027

The Prospect Park Vale restoration began this month and expects to conclude in 2027. This $37.5 million, 8-acre project is the single largest capital allocation to Prospect Park since Lakeside back in 2010-2013. A new children’s nature exploration area is part of the design!
