Join Projekt NYC and friends at the Astoria Park Alliance for a morning of community service at Astoria Park’s Annual Beautification Day!
On Saturday, March 21, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, volunteers will help clean up the park and plant flowers to get Astoria Park ready for spring. It’s a great opportunity for students to give back to the community, earn volunteer hours, and spend time outdoors with fellow volunteers. For more information, info@ProjektNYC.org
Volunteer Guidelines:
Students in 9th–12th grade may attend with parent or legal guardian permission.
Students in 7th–8th grade are welcome with an accompanying adult.
Whether you can stay for the full two hours or just stop by to lend a hand, every volunteer makes a difference. Volunteer hours will be provided for students. Volunteers must sign up in advance and include parental permission.
Meeting Location: Astoria Park, near the top of the running track behind the Field House, weather permitting.
