ITHACA, N.Y. (WBNG) — Two men were arrested after police found more than three pounds of methamphetamine while executing a search warrant on the border of Tompkins and Tioga Counties.

According to the Ithaca Police Department, at 12:51 a.m. on March 20, police arrested Adrain T. Golding and Joseph R. Robertson, both of Brooklyn, after stopping them in their vehicle on State Route 79.

While executing a search warrant on the vehicle and a residence on Morris Avenue in Ithaca, police found 1,410 grams of crystal methamphetamine (3.1 pounds), three ounces of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, scales, and U.S. currency.

Golding and Robertson were both charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the second and third degrees.

Golding was also wanted by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision for a parole violation.

The two were arraigned and remanded to the Tompkins County Jail without bail.

Police say additional charges are pending.
