STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The celebrations aren’t over just yet.

A few Brooklyn streets will be closed on Sunday to accommodate the Bay Ridge St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

As noted in an advisory from the NYPD, the closures will be at the discretion of police.

Parade formation will take place along Marine Avenue between 4th Avenue and 3rd Avenue. The route will lead the procession along 3rd Avenue between Marine Avenue and 68th Street.

Dispersal will take place on 3rd Avenue between 68th Street and 67th Street.

Although no scheduled events are expected to result in closures on Saturday, the Department of Transportation explained that motorists could experience travel delays throughout New York City due to a pothole repair blitz — the second in as many weekends. Last weekend’s effort repaired more than 7,200 potholes, according to the DOT.
