On March 19, 2026, members of the New York State Police Troop L Computer Crimes Unit (CCU) along with other members and investigators of the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (NYSP BCI) concluded a child pornography investigation into Jeffrey C. Buffalino, 33, of Copiague, NY.

The investigation revealed that Mr. Buffalino was in possession of child sexual abuse material on his personally owned electronic devices. 

Mr. Buffalino was charged with 10 counts of Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child (E Felony) and is due in Suffolk County First District Court April 17, 2026, at 9:00 am.
