Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Beckham might get a docuseries on Hulu.
The streaming company is hoping that Brooklyn sheds light on his feud with the rest of the Beckham family.
Brooklyn is reported to be “keen” for the project.
Welp, the time has finally come—Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Beckham may be getting a tell-all docuseries that dives into their heated family drama with David, Victoria, Cruz and Romeo Beckham.
According to The Daily Mail, the couple is reportedly in talks for their own docuseries at Hulu. If the streamer gets what they want, that docuseries might pave the way for Brooklyn and Nicola to talk about their tensions with the Beckham family.
The outlet reported that Brooklyn “could be set to lift the lid on the family row after it was reported that he and wife Nicola have been offered a deal with US streamer Hulu for a docuseries. It would put him in direct competition with his estranged parents Victoria and David, who have both released their own series with Netflix.”
Brooklyn, who is “‘keen’ for the project,” is probably more likely to talk about his culinary ventures, but Hulu is “also hoping he will lift the lid on the feud with his family.
While the content of this docuseries is up in the air and currently unconfirmed by Hulu, Brooklyn very likely does have a lot to say about his family feud with his parents and brothers. As a refresher, Brooklyn released a shocking statement in January about David and Victoria trying to ruin his relationship with Nicola.
“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped. My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress,” he shared. “Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children. They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since. During the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me ‘evil’ because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicola’s Naunni at our table, because they both didn’t have their husbands. Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours.”
Brooklyn’s statement also revealed that Victoria invited people from his past that he did not want at the wedding, and danced with him inappropriately during what was supposed to be his and Nicola’s first dance as a married couple.
He also denied rumors that Nicola controls his actions, and concluded his statement by staying, “I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared.”
Both David and Victoria offered Brooklyn and olive branch by wishing him happy birthday earlier this month, but tensions, unfortunately, still remain frosty between him and his parents.
