UTICA, N.Y. — Food and art came together at Munson for a celebration of Utica’s diverse culture.
The event was hosted by Munson, 92.7 The Drive and 103.3 El Zorro Radio Latino Sunday afternoon.
Guests sampled food from many of the area’s unique restaurants and enjoyed live music from the mariachi band Trio Los Claveles.
Attendees explored Munson’s exhibits while tasting a wide range of local cuisine.
“Utica is full of culture and the history here often celebrated through the cuisine that we have. We have culinary experts and restaurants from all different areas of the world here that we get to sample and it’s a very exciting time,” said Katie Laube, director of marketing and communications at Munson.
Each guest received a culinary passport to be punched after trying food from each restaurant. Completed cards were entered into a raffle for door prizes.
