Last year, L.L.Bean’s Japan Edition debuted its first-ever U.S. pop-up. This year, the concept returned to New York—this time in Brooklyn—at 106 North 6th Street, for a weekend event held March 20–22. The Japan collection was first made available through early access at the pop-up and is now available for purchase at llbean.com and in select L.L.Bean retail stores.
With more than twenty styles and colorways, the collection introduces new silhouettes alongside refreshed core styles, blending oversized fits, rich textures and a bright, summer-forward color palette. Every product is grounded in the craftsmanship and quality that define both Japanese style and L.L.Bean’s heritage.
L.L.Bean opened its first Japan in Tokyo in 1992. The available collection for the special release features staples from L.L.Bean’s Japanese assortment, and each item pays homage to classic L.L.Bean style through a Japanese lens.
