Caroline Kennedy made a rare public appearance since the death of her daughter, Tatiana Schlossberg, at a Saturday matinee of American Ballet Theatre’s “Firebird” at Lincoln Center.

Kennedy went backstage to greet the dancers after the performance. Her mother, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, was a longtime ballet lover and went regularly to ABT, where a ballet school was named after her.

Meanwhile, Jackie’s grandson, Jack Schlossberg, who is running for Jerry Nadler’s congressional seat, went to the Frick Museum’s Young Fellows Ball, where he was the center of attention.

All the young, single Carolyn Bessette wannabes were vying for his attention. The handsome Kennedy heir was seen chatting up several girls. Whether he was looking for votes or dates was unclear.

Also at the museum were Marcello Hernandez of “SNL,” “Mean Girls” star Rajiv Surendra, and socialite Ivy Getty.

Dr. Nicholas Kardaras is afraid for Gen Z youngsters who are hooked on social media.

Kardaras, CEO of Manhattan’s addiction treatment center, the New York Center for Living, said computers are compulsive. “It’s like seeing a car wreck. We know we shouldn’t be staring at it, but we can’t turn away.”

Kardaras, the author of “Glow Kids” and “Digital Madness” has worked with more than 2,000 teens over the past 20 years.

When computers first became widely used, “People were unaware that this was an addiction. People thought this is just a smaller TV set,” Kardaras said.

A court case in Los Angeles could redefine the issue. Meta, Google, Snapchat and TikiTok are being sued by a 20-year-old woman who claims the websites made design decisions that caused her addiction to social media, which she started using at age 6. As a result, she says her depression, anxiety, and body dysmorphia worsened.

“The hope is that this litigation will finally get Mark Zuckerberg and the other tech titans to take this seriously,” Kardaras said. “We’re saying you are intentionally harming people. You knew it was harmful and pushed it anyway.”

Kardaras has treated thousands of youngsters at his clinic in Austin, Texas, where they undergo a six-week “digital detox.” “It’s like taking a drug away from a drug addict,” he said.

Kylie Jenner and boyfriend Timothée Chalamet continue to make headlines.

His saying that ballet and opera are dead arts that “no one cares about anymore” stirred anti-Chalamet quips on Oscar night.

Now, Kylie is pictured on the cover of Vanity Fair smoking a cigarette, upsetting parents and doctors. It’s not just the link between smoking and cancer; plastic surgeons around the globe say it’s a looksmaxxing killer. “Smoking causes premature wrinkling, jowling, and sagging,” said Dr. Rohan Joshi, a plastic surgeon who practices in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Asif Pirani, a plastic surgeon in Toronto, Canada, told me “there is evidence suggesting that smoking and nicotine exposure may increase the risk of certain breast implant complications, including where scar tissue around the implant tightens and causes firmness or distortion.”

Kylie had her breasts enlarged by two cup sizes at age 19.

Sean Penn was too busy saving the world as a real-life hero to pick up his Oscar last Sunday for playing sadistic, racist Col. Steven Lockjaw in “One Battle After Another.”

Penn skipped Hollywood’s glitziest night for a train ride from Poland to Kyiv for a visit with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

His Moldovan girlfriend Valeria Nicov is not accompanying him on this trip it seems, as the actor has been photographed all over Ukrainian capital by himself.

Presenting the award, Kieran Culkin said, “Sean Penn couldn’t be here this evening, or didn’t want to.” After an eruption of nervous laughter, Culkin said, “So I’ll be accepting the award on his behalf.”

While kids are scurrying around April 5 for Easter eggs they’ll have some competition at a tony Hamptons home in Watermill — from adults.

It’s Joe and Marcia Ruskin’s Annual Egg Hunt for grown ups.

Sotheby’s realtor and former model Angela Boyer Stump goes every year. “Leave it to the Hamptons to turn one of these into a full on, cutthroat competition,” she said. “Grown ups dive behind hedges and hydrangeas to out strategize the kids for generational bragging rights.” And some pretty great prizes.

The big winners take home age appropriate winnings — giant bottles of vodka, tequila and scotch. That’ll keep ’em hopping.

Elsewhere in the Hamptons our pal Bill McCuddy dropped by LTV to help christen the first Open Mic Night for the public station.

McCuddy, who has contributed to “SNL” and wrote for Al Gore, Joan Rivers and Dennis Miller, talked about the swanky Hamptons neighborhoods. “I was late because I got pulled over in Sagaponack for driving without a Range Rover,” he said to a round of chuckles.

“The Daily Mail website was complaining we don’t have enough Royalty out here but c’mon, we have Countess Luann and King Kullen.” Maybe you had to be there.
