RHINEBECK, N.Y. — A Hyde Park man was arrested for burglary and other felonies, state police said Monday.

At about 2:50 a.m. Saturday, March 21, state police at Rhinebeck were sent to the village of Rhinebeck to investigate the reported unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Troopers found the unoccupied vehicle and the suspect on East Market Street.

Issac S. Iselin, 37, of Hyde Park, was arrested and charged with the felonies of burglary, unauthorized use of a vehicle, grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, and the misdemeanors of criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny, according to a press release.

An investigation by the Troop K Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Rhinebeck found that Iselin had burglarized a home and used a vehicle without consent. He then stole several items from within the residence before being taken into custody, police said.

Iselin was arraigned in Rhinebeck Town Court and sent to the Dutchess County Justice and Transition Center (formerly known as the Dutchess County Jail) in lieu of $50,000 bail.
