WATERBURY, CT (WFSB) – A man wanted on a murder charge in New York was arrested by Waterbury police earlier this month, they announced.
Police identified the suspect as 27-year-old Malik Williams.

Williams had an active arrest warrant out of New York for a second-degree murder charge.
They said they executed a search warrant on March 13 to get him.
Police said Williams was arrested by officers assigned to the U.S. Marshals Service and the Emergency Regional Response Team.
They said he was additionally charged with interfering with an officer because of his his conduct during the apprehension attempt.
Details about the murder were not released.
