THE BRONX (WABC) — Police are searching for the suspects accused of kidnapping and robbing a man in the Bronx overnight.
The kidnapping and robbery happened around 1 a.m. on Sunday along Bronx Park Avenue.
According to the NYPD, two individuals approached the 67-year-old man when one of them displayed a firearm while the other forced him into his own vehicle.
The man told police that he was transported to multiple locations in the Bronx during the kidnapping.
About 30 minutes later, the victim was able to flag down two officers near Hunts Point Avenue and Whittier Street. The man managed to escape unharmed while the suspects fled the scene on foot.
Officials say the suspects stole an undetermined amount of money from the man.
There are currently no arrests as authorities now try to determine what led up to the incident.
