QUEENS, NY — Not sure what to have for dinner?
Food delivery startup Wonder Group is expanding its shift toward brick‑and‑mortar dining with a brand‑new location in Forest Hills.
Following earlier openings in Astoria, Ridgewood, and Jackson Heights, the company’s latest Queens outpost brings dozens of restaurant brands together under one roof.
Located at 71‑14 Austin Street, the new food hall officially opened to the public last week with a ribbon‑cutting ceremony and a performance by singer‑songwriter Katelyn Richards, according to officials.
“A new kind of home dining experience,” reads a description of Wonder on its Instagram. “Enjoy menus from top chefs and iconic restaurants across the country, all in one place.”
The concept gives customers access to dozens of curated menus from some of the nation’s most recognizable chefs and restaurants, including Bobby Flay, Michael Symon and Marc Murphy.
It also lets New Yorkers enjoy dishes from popular eateries beyond the city—such as Texas favorite Tejas Barbecue, Atlanta’s Fred’s Meat & Bread, and Detroit Brick Pizza Co.
Customers can order from any combination of chefs and restaurants in a single transaction from one location. All dishes are prepared to order at the Wonder storefront and delivered within about 30 minutes, according to the company.
Available restaurants at the Forest Hills location include:
Limesalt Tejas Barbecue Fred’s Meat & Bread Yasas by Michael Symon Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson Panino Rustico of Howard Beach Anthony & Son Panini Shoppe Jack’s Wife Freda Peaches HotHouse Royal Greens Hanu Poke Di Fara Pizza Bobby Flay Steak Create Astoria Raj’s Indian Kitchen Ridgewood Taco Factory The Mainstay by Marc Murphy Walnut Lane by Jonathan Waxman Maydan
Wonder is owned by Wonder Group, a consortium founded in 2018 by entrepreneur and former Walmart e‑commerce chief Marc Lore.
The company began as a network of food trucks in Westfield, New Jersey, with chefs cooking meals onboard. It later announced plans to move away from that model and focus on permanent storefronts.
Customers can place orders from the Forest Hills location here; it’s open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
