In her recent interview, Nicola Peltz opened up about her husband, Brooklyn Beckham’s relationship with her parents, businessman Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner. Brooklyn’s relationship with his own parents, David and Victoria Beckham, has been fraught since his marriage to Peltz. The drama even reached an all-time high earlier this year.

Nicola Peltz says her parents think of husband Brooklyn Beckham as ‘another son’

The Bates Motel actress and Brooklyn Beckham got engaged in 2020. The couple tied the knot in April 2022 in a Jewish ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida. Allegedly, the issues between the Peltzes and the Beckhams began then.

However, Nicola Peltz recently shared with Elle Spain that her husband’s relationship with her parents is great. In her interview, she revealed how her parents accepted Beckham, saying, “Like another son. He gets along very well with my siblings. They play a lot of football together.” Peltz added, “My parents and siblings welcomed Brooklyn as one of their own children.”

Elsewhere, Peltz also shared what she has learned from her parents. She said, “To feel loved. Anything can happen, but I will always have a place where I am loved. Building my own family means just that: going home and feeling joy and love.”

When asked where she met Brooklyn Beckham, Peltz revealed that they first ran into each other at Coachella. However, it was years later that they met properly at a Halloween party. She recounted that she was wearing a cat costume and noticed him looking at her while hiding behind a bush. Beckham ended up staying in Los Angeles for ten days, and Peltz messed up her sleep schedule to spend time with him until early in the morning.

Nicola Peltz further said that she even talked to her mom about it early on. “One day, returning home in the morning, I called my mother, and she understood immediately: ‘If you have stayed awake until now, he is the right man,’ she told me. She was right,” she said.

Notably, tension between Brooklyn Beckham and his parents regarding his marriage and their family dynamics resulted in a public feud in January 2026.
