While it was a chilly start this morning, temperatures rise from 20s-and-30s into the upper-40s-to-low-50s this afternoon with increasing clous and mainly tranquil conditions.
Tomorrow looks even warmer with highs reaching the upper-50s-to-low-60s along with a south breeze and rain moving in for the afternoon. Rain showers continue tomorrow night before tapering off early Friday morning.
A cold front then sweeps in and leaves us with passing snow showers and flurries along with a brisk feel as highs only reach the 30s on Friday.
We continue into a chilly weekend with below normal temperatures and partial sun.

1. Hochul reiterates legislative proposals on ghost gun crackdown
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul joined law enforcement officials on Tuesday to once again push for her gun reform proposals. The governor’s proposals, which were part of her State of the State address in January, would increase laws surrounding ghost guns.
2. N.Y. lawmakers once again make push to allow selling wine in grocery stores
A bill (S.1279A/A.1328A) has been re-introduced by New York state Sen. Liz Krueger and state Assemblymember Pam Hunter to allow wine to be sold in grocery stores – something lawmakers have been pushing for years. Additionally, a bill (S.9032) introduced by state Sen. Luis Sepulveda would permit the selling of both wine and liquor in grocery stores.
