SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Some music legends are coming to the Great New York State Fair this summer in Syracuse.

The fair will feature dozens of nationally-renowned artists across two stages, Suburban Park and Chevy Court. Grammy-winning R&B singer Ashanti is the latest addition to the lineup for the Suburban Park Stage. Ashanti, who rose to fame in the early 2000s with hits like “Rock Wit U” and “Foolish”, will perform on Monday, Aug. 31.

All concerts are included in the price of admission. Tickets, which go on sale later this year, cost $8 for adults and are free for children under 12 or people 65 or older. Here are the artists the fair has announced so far:

Suburban Park Stage: (west end of the fairgrounds)

Chevy Court Stage (near Gate 1):

The fair kicks off on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the fairgrounds on 581 State Fair Blvd, just off the Thruway. It runs through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7.

Organizers will announce more details on this year’s entertainment lineup later. For every day of the fair, Chevy Court will hold a 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. concert, and Suburban Park will hold an 8 p.m. concert. There will also be two special shows at 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, and Friday, Sept. 4 at Chevy Court.
