BOROUGH PARK — A 58-YEAR-OLD MAN was attacked with a hammer by an unknown assailant while inside a building at 1226 42nd St. in Borough Park around 4:13 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, according to police.
The victim was approached by the unidentified man, who engaged him in a verbal dispute over the usage of tools. He then displayed a hammer, and struck him on his head, according to authorities. The attacker then fled. EMS transported the victim to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition.
The suspect is described as having a medium complexion and was last seen wearing a black hat, green hooded jacket, tan shirt and tan pants.
