RIVERDALE, the Bronx (PIX11) — A heartbroken Bronx man is frantically searching for his four beloved bulldogs after they vanished while a dog walker was caring for them during his weekend getaway.
“I just want my dogs back. That’s all I want, no questions asked,” Eusebio Baez, 35, told PIX11 News on Wednesday.

Baez hired a trusted dog walker he had known for years to take care of the adorable pups, Churro, Mocha, Rosie, and Banksy, while he was away for the weekend. But on his way back from his trip, he got an ominous call every pet owner dreads.
“He said the dogs were not in the apartment, and that he had dropped them off on Saturday at 4 p.m.,” Baez said.
When the Riverdale resident arrived at his Fieldston Terrace apartment, the dogs’ leashes and collars were gone, and he instantly knew something was wrong.
His gut told him his precious pets were not missing. They were sold.
“The thought of them being separated kills me,” Baez said, adding that there is a huge market for bulldogs where they can fetch thousands of dollars.

The worried owner said surveillance video captured the dog walker leaving the building with the bulldogs at around 5 p.m. Saturday.
About an hour and a half later, the dog walker was spotted on a store’s surveillance video heading into a Bronx subway station without the pups, according to Baez.
Neighbors also sent him videos of the dog walker playing with the bulldogs in Van Cortland Park.
Baez has been to several veterinarians and pet stores and has posted around 400 flyers around the neighborhood. But sadly, the search has come up empty.
“They came with me everywhere,” he said. “They’re like super famous. When people see me without my dogs, they ask about the dogs.”
Police confirmed they are investigating the incident. The dog walker allegedly told the cops he couldn’t remember if he returned the dogs to the apartment, according to the NYPD.
There have been no arrests.
The dog walker could not immediately be reached Wednesday.
