NEW YORK CITY — Baseball season is back and for fans of one team in New York they can enjoy the best stadium food in the country, according to USA Today.
“Mets fans at Citi Field can indulge in an array of juicy burgers from Shake Shack, a beloved New York City institution. Fans can also choose from a variety of stadium food options that represent the city’s culinary identity, from classic New York-style hot dogs and soft pretzels to pastrami sandwiches and cheesesteaks,” USA Today editors wrote.
Earlier this month, the Mets unveiled 37 different new food items that will be available at concession stands in 2026.
The food menu at Citi Field this season is the largest in the stadium’s and team’s history, according to Mets officials. The new food options was spearheaded by 27 different partnerships.
“Winning Best Ballpark Food for the fourth straight year is something we don’t take lightly, but we’ll definitely celebrate it with something delicious,” Mets Vice President of Ballpark Experience James Benesh said in a statement. “The fact that this is voted on by our fans makes it even more special.
