UTICA, N.Y. — A new Mediterranean cafe is bringing fresh flavors and a modern atmosphere to downtown Utica.
Cafe Del Mondo opened at 110 Bleecker St. over the weekend.
The menu features specialty teas, lattes and a variety of coffees, including Turkish and Arabic options.
Cheesecakes and pastries are also available.
Owner Julia Cucci said she chose Utica because it is a melting pot where everyone is welcome.
“This place is for the community. I have a pool table, a family room and a large front seating area,” she said. “If you want to come study or hang out…bring your kids—something like that,” Cucci said.
Cafe Del Mondo is open seven days a week.
