An SUV driver has been arrested for a hit-and-run crash that killed a 69-year-old woman in a Midtown Manhattan crosswalk, police said Thursday.

Bryan Alexis Guashpa Rumipamba is accused of slamming into Espina Bundley, who was crossing Second Ave. in the crosswalk at E. 57th St., as he made a turn in his Chevrolet Suburban about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Bundley was knocked into a protected bike lane, where stunned witnesses found her. Medics rushed her to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell but she could not be saved.

Bundley lived in Richmond Hill, Queens, according to cops.

The driver sped off but hours later cops arrested 43-year-old Guashpa Rumipamba. He is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident, failure to yield to a pedestrian and failure to exercise due care.

Guashpa Rumipamba lives in the Rockaways in Queens, cops said. His arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court was pending Thursday.
