After leading Kettle Moraine Lutheran girls basketball to the Division 3 state tournament, sophomore Brooklyn Luehring was named the inaugural Glacier Trails Conference Player of the Year.
Luehring averaged 14.4 points per game on 51.8% shooting to go along with three assists and 2.9 steals. Luehring also scored a team-high 20 points in the Chargers’ 77-71 defeat to Wisconsin Dells in the Division 3 state semifinal. Luehring’s KML teammates sophomore Mya Mayer and junior Hayden Lauer also earned first-team all-conference honors. Mayer was right behind Luehring in the scoring charts, finishing the season averaging 14.4 points per game on 53.7% shooting, as well as 8.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks. Lauer was the Chargers’ main facilitator, averaging 3.2 assists per game and shooting 58.2% from the field, second-best in the GTC.
Kewaskum junior Cameron Boelte also earned first-team all-conference honors after averaging 15.9 points per game, the second-best mark in the conference. She was also the conference’s top markswoman, averaging a league best 2.4 3-pointers per game. Boelte also averaged 3.3 steals per game, second- best in the conference.
KML senior Elizabeth Ehlke, Kewaskum junior Kaelyn Rettler and West Bend West senior Lizzie Thierer earned second-team all-conference honors.
Rettler averaged 8.0 points per game to go along with 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists. She also averaged 2.7 steals per game, fourth-best in the GTC.

Thierer averaged 12.9 points per game and was one of the league’s top rebounders, averaging 7.1 per contest. Ehlke averaged 5.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 0.7 steals per game.
Kewaskum sophomore Lily Prost, West Bend West freshman Macey Fujinaka and West Bend East junior Savana Tillman round out the area honorees, earning honorable mention honors.
Tillman was the Suns’ leading scorer in a season that saw them get their first win in over two years. She averaged 10.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game, and was tied for second in the conference in blocks per game (1.6).
Prost averaged 7.3 points and 3.1 rebounds per game, and Fujinaka averaged 4.7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
