A 9-year-old boy was shot in Brownsville, authorities say.
Officers responded to 391 Bristol St. just before 6 p.m. Thursday.
Police say the child was struck in the right leg.
EMS took him to the Maimonides Medical Center, where he is expected to be recover.
Authorities say they do not know what led up to the shooting but say they are looking for a group of people.
