EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 27, 2026) – For their penultimate game at home this year, Mount St. Mary’s men’s lacrosse squares off with Manhattan in a Saturday showdown.
 
MOUNT UPDATE


The team comes into Saturday looking to rebound from a challenging week, falling 9-8 to Merrimack at home and falling to Iona 15-14 on the road.
Carter Quested becomes the fourth member of the team to post double digit goals this season following his hat trick against Iona, joining Brody Atkinson (21), Aidan Kilduff (13), and Chris Grimaldi (13). 
Kevin Whitty recorded his 20th assist of the year in the game with the Gaels and ranks second among his teammates with 26 points.
Bennett Wright is 12th in the country at saves per game with 12.89 and enters Saturday’s contest with 116 total.

SCOUTING MANHATTAN


Like the Mount, the Jaspers come into the contest aiming to win a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) game. So far, they have dropped games to Iona, Siena, and Sacred Heart.
Thomas White leads Manhattan with 19 points and 18 goals. Aiden Kane has the most assists, earning seven this year.
A trio of goalies split time for the Jaspers. Ryan Beller has the most saves with 53.

ALL-TIME SERIES


Saturday marks the 26th time Mount St. Mary’s and Manhattan battle each other on the lacrosse field. The Mount leads the series, 14-11.
In MAAC play, Manhattan has won all three games, including a 13-11 win last season.
