The first Honey Farms convenience store is arriving in New York state this summer.
The Honey Farms will replace a closed XtraMart, Reid Lamberty, senior communications advisor at Global Partners, told CSP. Both brands are owned by Global Partners.
Global Partners is No. 27on CSP’s 2026 Top 40 update to the 2025 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by store count. Watch for the full 2026 Top 202 ranking in June.
The Honey Farms is scheduled to open in August at 2954 State Route 9 in Malta, Lamberty said, adding that a new store will be built on the site.
Waltham, Massachusetts-based Global Partners, which also owns Alltown Fresh and other c-store chains, plans to add more Honey Farms locations in New York but does not yet have a schedule, Lamberty said. Global Partners acquired Honey Farms in 2017.
During Global Partners’ third-quarter 2025 earnings call in November, Eric Slifka, president and CEO, said, “We’re continuing to redefine the convenience-store experience through our Alltown Fresh and newly reimagined Honey Farms Market brands.”
Slifka said these brands embody the company’s four pillars, community, hospitality, local and fresh, “while introducing chef-driven menus, clean-label offerings and hyperlocal engagement. Through our new loyalty platform, Bee’s Knees Benefits, we’re creating a seamless, personalized experience designed to drive repeat business, build long-term loyalty and strengthen the connection between our guests and our brands.”
Last week, Global Partners opened an Alltown Fresh at 696 Cochituate Road (Route 30) in Framingham, Massachusetts, the brand’s 17th location and seventh in Massachusetts.
“Our goal with Alltown Fresh Framingham was to create a place where convenience meets quality,” said Laura Derba, Global Partners’ senior vice president of retail. “This isn’t just a stop for gas or groceries. It’s a welcoming space where guests can enjoy chef-prepared meals, discover local products and feel connected to the community.”
Global Partners owns, leases or supplies gas stations and convenience stores under multiple brands, including Alltown Fresh, Honey Farms, Jiffy Mart and XtraMart. Other brands include Convenience Plus, Fast Freddie’s, Mr. Mike’s, T-Bird and P&H Truck Stop.
