MANHATTAN, Mont. — Manhattan School District Superintendent Brian Ayers tells NBC Montana in an email today that a new interim principal for Manhattan Middle School will be appointed at a special board meeting.
This is following a recent incident that took place on a field trip.
Jeff Blessum is being recommended to the board for approval for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.
Ayers says Mary Fulp submitted her letter of resignation Friday afternoon, which he accepted effective immediately.
The meeting will be held on March 31 in the high school activities room at 7 p.m.
