Russell Wilson and Ciara stepped out in New York City this week for a high-profile charity event, marking their first major public appearance since Wilson’s latest business move with Amazon began circulating online.

According to USA Today, the couple attended the Fashion Scholarship Fund’s 89th annual gala on March 23, where they were among the evening’s honorees. Their appearance doubled as a family moment, with their children joining them on the red carpet.

The outing comes just days after Wilson introduced a new initiative tied to his 3Brand platform. In a social media announcement, the veteran quarterback revealed a partnership with Amazon centered on customizable youth sports uniforms.

“Youth sports means everything to our family and that’s why we’re launching our custom jerseys exclusively on Amazon,” Wilson said in the announcement. The program, titled “Kit Your Team,” allows leagues, schools, and recreational teams to design personalized uniforms with rapid delivery options.

The gala itself focused on supporting students pursuing careers in fashion, with the nonprofit awarding more than $1.9 million in scholarships to its 2026 class. Ciara emphasized the importance of exposing young people—especially her own children—to spaces that celebrate creativity and opportunity.

“Clearly, they have a lot of energy, but it makes us so happy that they get to see us in moments like this because they are the future,” Ciara told USA Today. “And we just want them to be inspired in rooms like this and to see mommy and dad do what they do today at work.”

Wilson and Ciara’s appearance arrives during a transitional period for the quarterback. After beginning the 2025 NFL season as the New York Giants’ starter, Wilson was later moved out of the starting role as the team shifted toward rookie Jaxson Dart.

Despite the change, Wilson publicly stated at the time that he intended to remain with the organization, saying, “I want to be here… I still want to keep playing football.”

Now entering free agency, Wilson’s future on the field remains unresolved, even as his off-field ventures continue to expand.

The night also featured a surprise moment from Travis Scott, who appeared on stage to support scholarship recipients tied to his Cactus Jack Design Ethos program. “Even today I was going through so much… there’s nothing that’s going to stop me from getting to see the future,” Scott told attendees.
