BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — Police are searching for nine suspects accused of attacking and robbing three teens on a northbound 2 train, authorities said.

Police said the group began punching and kicking one of the victims in the face and body. Two of the suspects then struck the teens multiple times with a scooter, and one suspect pulled out a knife and slashed an 18‑year‑old in the head.

The incident happened around 6:50 p.m. last Thursday as the train arrived at the Bronx Park East station, according to the NYPD.

The group stole two cellphones, a backpack and headphones before running away, police said.

An 18‑year‑old and a 19‑year‑old were taken to a local hospital and are in stable condition, according to authorities.
