This Saturday, March 28, the Spokane Lilac Festival Association will crown the 2026 “Embrace” queen and court.

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Lilac Festival Association is going to crown the 2026 “Embrace” queen and court this Saturday, March 28. 

The queen and royal court will represent Spokane at events throughout the summer and at the 2026 Armed Forces Torchlight Parade on May 16, according to the press release.

The queen and court will be announced at Spokane Community College’s Auditorium at the Lair Student center at 5:45 p.m. 

The 2026 Spokane Lilac Festical “Embrace” royal court includes:

Ava Hubble – University High SchoolAva Payne – East Valley High SchoolChloe Nelson – Spokane Valley TechHayden Bowdish – Cheney High SchoolKahlan Cartmell – Shadle Park High SchoolNaliesha Richardson – Gonzaga Preparatory SchoolSimone Kaczmark – Lewis & Clark High School

Those crowned will have completed an eight-week leadership and community service program. According to the press release, nearly $30,000 in scholarships will be awarded during the coronation.
